About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at a secondary school in Greenwich. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school during the absence of teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead classes with confidence and positivity, using effective behaviour management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment.
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons, promoting student participation and engagement.
- Support students with special educational needs, ensuring their individual requirements are met.
- Collaborate with teachers to plan and prepare lessons, ensuring continuity and consistency.
- Monitor student progress, providing feedback and guidance to support their development.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar role in a secondary school setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and support staff.
- Ability to think creatively and develop engaging lesson plans.
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
