Job Title: Production Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Team Leader to join our team at a food manufacturing business. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing daily production, ensuring product quality, and maintaining operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage production runs to meet specifications and deadlines
  • Determine necessary resources for production and ensure efficient utilization of time and resources
  • Monitor production to ensure product quality and adherence to quality standards
  • Liaise with other Line Managers and report to the Production Manager
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure staff are trained against written procedures
Scope of Responsibility:
  • Report directly to the Production Manager
  • Manage production operatives to ensure safe final products
  • Stop production in the event of a product non-conformance situation affecting product safety
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a team lead in manufacturing
  • Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations
  • Proficient in MS Office (ideal but not essential)
  • Good communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
