Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Positive Futures Recruitment Ltd. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children and young people in a primary and secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring high-quality educational experiences for students.
  • Support students with special educational needs, ensuring their individual requirements are met and their progress is monitored.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs, working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in education or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the school and students.
  • Hourly rate: £11.78 per hour.
  • Hours: 40 per week, term-time only.
