Job Description:

We are seeking a bright and ambitious graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant - Aspiring Teacher Programme. As a key member of our Learning Support team, you will work closely with our SENCO, Director for Learning, Educational Psychologist, Counsellor, and other professionals to provide support to students in KS3 & KS4, as well as supporting KS5 students in the run up to exams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in KS3 & KS4 (Aged 11-16)
  • Work with Sixth Formers (KS5) during exam preparation
  • Provide individualized support to students with mild to moderate additional needs
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Bright graduate with future aspirations to teach
  • Able to build strong, professional relationships with students, teachers, and parents
  • Confident and able to relay feedback to teachers and parents
  • Experience with SEN beneficial but not essential
  • Able to commit full-time for the academic year
