About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Physiotherapy Assistant. As a key member of our Physical Health AHP team, you will play a vital role in providing client-centred physiotherapy services to patients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of a qualified physiotherapist to provide physiotherapy services to patients.
  • Support the physiotherapist in implementing intervention plans to help patients maintain and regain independence in functional abilities.
  • Complete a degree-level apprenticeship in physiotherapy and gain full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) on qualifying.
Requirements
  • GCSE or equivalent: Minimum 5 GCSEs graded 9-4 / A*- C including English Language and Mathematics, or specified equivalents.
  • A-level: ABB (Excludes General Studies).
  • BTEC: DDD in a Health & Social Care related diploma.
  • Previous experience in a relevant health or social care setting.
  • Awareness of the impact of poor health on overall well-being.
  • Awareness of the positive impact of activity on health and well-being.
  • A basic understanding of the role of Physiotherapy and the core philosophy of the profession.
  • IT literacy.
