About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our Physical Health AHP team as a Physiotherapy Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our experienced physiotherapists and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work under the supervision of a qualified physiotherapist to provide client-centred physiotherapy to a defined caseload of service users with complex needs.
  • Support the physiotherapist in the implementation of intervention plans aimed at helping clients to maintain and regain independence in functional abilities and promoting clients' safety through the participation in everyday activities.
  • Complete the physiotherapy degree level 6 apprenticeship and gain full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) on qualifying.

Requirements

  • GCSE or equivalent: Minimum 5 GCSEs graded 9-4 / A*- C including English Language and Mathematics, or specified equivalents
  • A-level: ABB (Excludes General Studies)
  • BTEC: DDD in a Health & Social Care related diploma
  • Previous experience in a relevant health or social care setting
  • Awareness of the impact of poor health on overall well-being
  • Awareness of the positive impact of activity on health and well-being
  • A basic understanding of the role of Physiotherapy and the core philosophy of the profession
  • IT literacy
