Job Overview: Quest Employment is seeking dedicated Counterbalance Fork Lift Drivers for temporary roles in Bretton, Peterborough. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and readiness for immediate employment. A good command of English in speaking, reading, and writing is essential.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Operate Forklift to transport materials
  • Load and unload trucks and containers
  • Package, verify, and label cereal products
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and yard
  • Adhere to Health and Safety regulations
  • Meet daily productivity goals
  • Utilize internal software systems
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards
  • Achieve all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Conduct material checks following company procedures

Working Environment:

  • Potentially hot during summer months
  • Exposure to machine noise and vibrations (PPE provided)
  • Possibly dusty conditions
  • Safety boots are mandatory
  • All necessary PPE will be supplied

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Counterbalance license (RTITB or ITSSAR)
  • Full driving license
  • Physical capability to lift, bend, and reach
  • Ability to push and pull weights up to 15kg
  • Manual dexterity in both hands
  • Experience in a warehouse or production setting is advantageous but not required
  • Team-oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills for scanner and PC tasks
  • Effective time management skills
