Job Title: Freight Train Driver

At Colas Rail UK, we are seeking a skilled Freight Train Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of freight trains on our network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate freight trains in accordance with company procedures and safety protocols.
  • Ensure the safe loading and unloading of freight at designated terminals.
  • Conduct regular inspections of trains and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth train operations and minimize delays.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Appropriate training and experience in freight train operation.
  • Knowledge of railway safety regulations and procedures.
