About the Role

Upon completion, it will provide reliable electricity to millions of households for decades, supporting the UK's goal of achieving Net Zero.

We are in search of several Project Coordinators from the construction or energy sectors to enhance our on-site team.

These essential roles are vital to the project's success during this critical phase, and you will have the opportunity to grow alongside the project.

Key Responsibilities

As an on-site coordinator, you will oversee a specific section of the project, ensuring it is delivered within budget and on schedule to facilitate the successful completion of the initiative.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Directing and managing on-site project operations, ensuring compliance with timelines and financial plans.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals and milestones.
  • Applying best practices in project management to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Supervising contractor and subcontractor activities, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Identifying and addressing project risks proactively to ensure seamless project advancement.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Project Coordinator in large-scale infrastructure or energy initiatives, particularly those exceeding £18 million, such as major transport projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the capability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in the energy or construction industries.
  • Experience with NEC contracts and a background in multi-program construction.
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline would be advantageous.
