We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Hays Business Support. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing document control on selected projects, ensuring that all project documentation is up-to-date and accurate.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Document Control: Proactively lead and manage document control on selected projects, being the first point of contact for all document control issues.
  2. Document Management: Update and maintain the company share drive with all project documentation, including health and safety and quality assurance documents.
  3. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the project team, including weekly material, plant, and waste returns, and scanning and filing of all site documents.
  4. Visitor Management: Book in visitors for temporary passes and ensure that all visitors are properly registered.
  5. Investigations: Investigate transport failings and complaints, and complete waste and materials trackers as required.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Experience as a Document Controller, preferably with a main contractor.
  2. Industry Knowledge: Experience in the construction industry or working on-site.
  3. Construction Understanding: Construction understanding and background.
  4. Transportation: Full UK driving license and own vehicle.
  5. IT Skills: Excellent IT skills, including Excel and Microsoft Word knowledge.
  6. Desirable Skills: Datascope and CEMAR experience is desirable, but full training will be given.
