Job Title: Activities Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at CrossReach. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in planning and delivering therapeutic activities to provide mental and physical stimulation for our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver indoor and outdoor activities to promote mental and physical well-being
- Facilitate group and one-to-one sessions to cater to individual needs and preferences
- Work collaboratively with the Service Manager and team to ensure high-quality care and a nurturing atmosphere
- Develop and maintain a range of activities to meet the diverse needs of our service users
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
- SVQ 3 in Social Care (or equivalent qualification)
- Basic computer literacy and understanding of relevant activities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Respect for Christian values and ability to work within this framework
- Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and registration with the SSSC
