Job Title: Activities Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at CrossReach. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in planning and delivering therapeutic activities to provide mental and physical stimulation for our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver indoor and outdoor activities to promote mental and physical well-being
  • Facilitate group and one-to-one sessions to cater to individual needs and preferences
  • Work collaboratively with the Service Manager and team to ensure high-quality care and a nurturing atmosphere
  • Develop and maintain a range of activities to meet the diverse needs of our service users
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • SVQ 3 in Social Care (or equivalent qualification)
  • Basic computer literacy and understanding of relevant activities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Respect for Christian values and ability to work within this framework
  • Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and registration with the SSSC
