Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple high-value delegated authority agreements.
  • Perform market research to sustain a competitive advantage and ensure favorable results.
  • Establish controls to underwrite risks and manage claims in accordance with established protocols.
  • Facilitate system modifications, updates, and the development of new propositions.
  • Engage in binder renewals, performance assessments, and client interactions.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of insurance products and claim categories.
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in corporate underwriting.
  • Possession of a CII qualification is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and numerical abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for relationship building with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel for developing formulas and generating reports.
  • Technical expertise in general insurance, particularly in liability coverage.
