C£50k starting salary (DOE)

Davies Resourcing are delighted to be working with an instantly recognisable global Insurer who are looking to expand their team in the Leicester area

Key Responsibilities
- Broking insurance risk for recruitment business using both internal delegated authority, and referral to/liaison with Underwriters
- Own document, process, and file infrastructure for all recruitment insurance business
- Management of renewal process for all recruitment risks
- Support Head of Insurance with upkeep of delegated authority agreements
- Support Compliance Director in ensuring compliance and quality assurance protocols are maintained
- Work with the marketing team to generate insurance related comms, both internal and external
- Attend client meetings in person or remotely, as required, in order to secure new business and renew existing risks
- Represent the client by attending industry functions and events as required
- Monitoring and reporting of departmental output
- Reviewed current processes and updated departmental file infrastructure and created a plan on how to manage this going forward.

Essential Experience and Skills
- Ideally 3 to 5 years’ experience in an Underwriter / Broker role
- Knowledge of Professional Indemnity & Liability product lines
- Experience of working with corporate clients / business owners
- Experience making presentation of risk to underwriters and/or presentation of insurance proposals to policyholders.
- Enjoys and is good at implementing processes and structure.
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in building strong professional relationships with clients.
