Bookkeeper Job Description

An experienced Bookkeeper is required to join a leading property restoration specialist company based in London. This part-time role is office-based and involves managing accounts, payroll, and office services within budgetary constraints.

About the Role

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, overseeing payroll and budgets, and maintaining relationships with service partners. You will also support the Managing Director, attend weekly management meetings, and handle general office administration tasks.

Requirements

  • AAT qualification or solid awareness of business accounts and the annual accounts cycle
  • Experience of using SAGE accounting software
  • Experience of running payroll
  • Good MS Excel experience
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a methodical and organised manner
  • High level organisation skills with the ability to work independently and prioritise workload to meet fixed deadlines
  • Good attention to detail
