Job Title: Head of Network Delivery

Orion Group is seeking an experienced Head of Network Delivery to oversee the successful delivery of non-infrastructure capital programmes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a breadth of relevant industry experience in delivering major capital programmes for utility clients and a proven track record of delivering to time, cost, and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the team safely, ensuring rigorous adherence to Time, Cost, and Quality requirements in line with the commercial model agreed with the client.
  • Develop and maintain rigorous project management processes that result in positive outcomes.
  • Ensure control of accurate management of scope, including contractual change.
  • Form effective relationships with various project-delivery disciplines and programme stakeholders.
  • Develop the delivery strategy for projects as they pass through the client's gated governance process.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain Lead to build delivery relationships that support effective outcomes on value for money, quality, safety, and constructability.
  • Maintain alignment with the client's vision through delivery of the contract.
  • Set and maintain the delivery strategy to align with outcome requirements.
  • Hold accountability for the commercial performance of projects passing through governance gateways.
  • Maintain and influence opportunities to support off-setting of the Target Efficiency Factor.
Requirements
  • Motivational individual with strong leadership qualities.
  • Aware of individual Health and Safety responsibilities and adherence to company health and safety policy and procedures.
  • Expert working knowledge of major programme portfolio on design and construct projects.
  • Trained in Operational Health and Safety procedures and policies.
  • Experience of PLC policies and procedures relating to BMS / Quality / Employment.
