As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business and setting appointments for our project sales team. You will be selling a high-quality manufacturer's range of timber windows, joinery products, doors, and architectural ironmongery to contractors, small bespoke developers, architects, specifiers, and bespoke housebuilders.
Key Responsibilities:- Prospecting sales opportunities and qualifying relevant leads
- Generating new business and setting appointments for the project sales team
- Selling a high-quality manufacturer's range of timber windows, joinery products, doors, and architectural ironmongery
- Dealing with incoming enquiries via telephone or email
- Must have outbound telephone sales experience; ideally within a telesales, SDR, or appointment setting position
- Ideally experience selling doors, timber/joinery products, or architectural ironmongery; however, this is not essential
- Determined, resilient, and motivated
- Ability to hit the ground running
- Computer literate
