About the Role
We are seeking a skilled 360 Materials Handler to join our team at Selwood. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment and machinery, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment and machinery, including 360 excavators, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles and materials, verifying against paperwork and recording any discrepancies.
- Support stock level control and inventory management within the warehouse.
- Assist in the assembly and maintenance of equipment for specialized applications.
Requirements and Qualifications
- CPCS A59B (Wheeled 360 Excavator) or NPORS equivalent certification.
- At least one year's experience operating 360 excavators.
- Strong understanding of health and safety protocols and procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to challenging situations and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility with working hours and willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Current Full UK driving license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift truck operator certification.
- Understanding of temporary and permanent pumping solutions.
