We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Delivery Manager to join our team at Thales. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead software development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain software development plans, ensuring they are aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate software risks, ensuring delivery of software solutions that meet customer expectations.
- Manage software development budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and resources are allocated effectively.
- Lead estimating activities for software projects, ensuring accurate and realistic estimates are provided to customers.
- Develop and maintain software development processes, ensuring they are aligned with industry best practices and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with software development teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, ensuring software development processes are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading software development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Experience in managing software development budgets and resources.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze complex software development problems and develop effective solutions.
- Experience in developing software solutions that meet international safety standards, such as IEC 61508 and DO-178C/278.
