About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at Peterborough City Hospital within the Emergency Department. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our physiotherapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide expert physiotherapy services to patients within the Emergency Department, including assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • To participate in the development and implementation of physiotherapy services, including the creation of treatment plans and the evaluation of patient outcomes.
  • To supervise and mentor junior physiotherapists and support staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • To contribute to the development of the physiotherapy team, including the identification of areas for improvement and the implementation of changes to improve patient care.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy
  • Current HCPC Registration
  • CSP member
  • Experience of working in a hospital setting, preferably in the Emergency Department
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills and ability to make informed decisions
