Telford Hall, our stunning 66-bedded Nursing home for older adults, offers unrivaled modern facilities including a salon, tranquil lounge and garden rooms, cinema, and tearoom. We provide specialist nursing, palliative, and dementia care with a particular focus on personalized attention.

Your Role as a Kitchen Assistant

As a Kitchen Assistant at Telford Hall, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive delicious and nutritious meals. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment such as pots, pans, food mixers, etc.
  • Washing dishes, cutlery, chopping boards, pans, or loading them into a dishwasher.
  • Thoroughly cleaning the kitchen at the end of each day to ensure it is ready for the next shift by sterilizing countertops, stove, oven, grills, and sinks.
  • Assisting kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks.
  • Undertaking any necessary training provided.

What We Look For

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a kitchen environment.
  • Level 2 in food hygiene is desirable but not essential.
