Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

As a Highway Maintenance Technician, you will collaborate with the Maintenance team to execute tasks related to carriageway, footway, and drainage operations.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Operating light machinery such as compressors, rollers, disc cutters, and vibrating plates, including performing daily maintenance and inspections.
  • Assisting skilled tradespeople with kerbing, drainage, concrete work, paving, bricklaying, and surface repairs.
  • Excavating soil, rock, asphalt, and concrete using both hand tools and powered equipment.
  • Conducting hand sweeping, cleaning, litter collection, loading, unloading, and general handling of materials and tools.

Qualifications:

This role is ideal for candidates who possess:

  • Prior experience in highway maintenance or construction.
  • Relevant certifications in highways and a solid understanding of practical applications.
