Overview

Cora Partners is representing a valued client in search of a Domestic Manager and Culinary Specialist for their weekend residence located in a serene rural area.

Key Responsibilities

The Domestic Manager and Culinary Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Performing comprehensive housekeeping tasks with support from a part-time local cleaner
  • Managing laundry duties
  • Preparing meals for the family during weekends
  • Handling errands as needed
  • Occasional driving duties for school transportation (vehicle provided for work purposes)
  • Supervising contractors' work
  • Coordinating shoot parties (approximately 7 weekends annually)
  • Overseeing the procurement of household supplies
Candidate Requirements
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possession of a full, clean driving license
  • Well-versed in various aspects related to the role
  • Efficient, discreet, and highly organized
  • Comfortable working in a rural environment
  • Child-friendly, as the family has two children aged 13 and 15
Accommodation

Housing provided: A three-bedroom residence in the village.

Working Hours

The family is present on weekends during term time. The successful candidate will work from Thursday to Monday when the family is in residence. Typical weekday hours are from 09:00 to 17:00, with flexibility required during weekends.

Salary Details

Compensation of up to £40,000. For local candidates, a live-out option with a salary of up to £50,000 based on prior experience may be available.
