About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Arboricultural Surveyor to join our team at AVOVE LIMITED. As a Trainee, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality survey and consent services to our utility clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver detailed surveys and consents for our utility clients on the overhead Low voltage, High voltage, and Extra High voltage networks.
  • Work individually and as part of a larger team to ensure personal safety and contract compliance.
  • Meet with members of the public, landowners, and estate managers to agree on cutting solutions to maintain a safe and resilient overhead electricity network.
  • Record tree sites, traffic management, and agreed specifications with customers using our in-house mobile application.
Training and Development

As part of our Trainee program, you will be introduced to the world of utility overhead line clearance. You will be trained to recognize hazards on the overhead lines and prescribe cutting solutions. You will also be trained to Unit 5 NPTC utility surveying and Level 1 basic electrical awareness, giving you the tools and support to become a productive and valuable member of the survey team.
