Key Responsibilities

As an Asset Land Surveyor with Simpson Booth Limited, you will work under the direction of the Workshop Supervisors and Workshop Manager to maintain the highest standards of safety and ensure adherence to Company HSE Policies at all times. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring all equipment has full test procedures that are regularly revised as and when required, following Company procedures relating to the testing, maintenance, and calibration of Company rental equipment, and updating maintenance and calibration schedules for rental and test equipment. You will also be responsible for updating the status of rental assets, job reports, etc. on Company asset tracking system, maintaining good housekeeping practices in all areas of workshop, and working closely with vendors to ensure timely arrival of spare parts order/workshop stock. Effective communication with colleagues at all levels is essential to ensure satisfactory information transfer. Additionally, you will be required to undertake manufacturer training courses as and when required and work off-site undertaking mobilizations on vessel in port around UK as and when required.

Requirements
  1. HNC or HND qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
  2. Previous relevant Survey Engineering experience at a similar level.
  3. Flexible approach to tasks and roles.
  4. Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
QHSE Responsibilities
  1. To consistently work to all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards applicable to Unique System and to assist in the development and improvement of such standards.
  2. Comply with Unique Group's QHSE Management System.
  3. Promote a positive QHSE culture in the workplace.
