The Role:

As a Business Analyst, you will report to the Global Markets Control Testing Programme Head within the Markets Governance & Control Team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting the results of control testing, specifically covering Markets Trading and Sales businesses.

  1. Executing and reporting control testing results
  2. Supervising and coaching junior team members
  3. Monitoring testing programme execution and resolving obstacles
  4. Maintaining high standards and best practices for testing activities
  5. Providing challenge to stakeholders on control design and effectiveness
  6. Supporting stakeholders in control remediation efforts
  7. Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
  8. Presenting impactful summary outputs to stakeholders
  9. Providing Markets controls expertise across all three lines of defence

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Understanding of Markets business activities and relevant regulations
  2. Knowledge of Markets Operational and Compliance risks and controls
  3. Strong understanding of control design assessment techniques
  4. Experience in Front Office controls testing, internal/external audit, or control consulting
  5. Track record of coaching and developing team members
  6. Ability to establish effective senior stakeholder relationships
  7. Proven experience in providing constructive challenge on risk management matters

Education:

A bachelor's degree or university education is preferred, but exceptional industry experience with a strong delivery track record will be considered equally important.
