Job Summary

GKN Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Manager to join our Central Security Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of Security Risk Management across the business. This includes developing and implementing a robust governance framework, participating in multi-functional audit programs, and providing operational support to the business lines and manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive security risk management program to identify, assess, and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and site security managers to understand specific security requirements and provide support.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in key disciplines, including physical security controls, technical security systems, and personnel security.
  • Conduct investigations and provide clear direction, guidance, and support to the business lines and sites on crisis management frameworks and procedures.
  • Deliver security awareness training and provide support in the event of real-time crisis.
Requirements
  • US National with relevant security clearance.
  • Proactive team-player and self-starter with ability to prioritize and manage multiple programs across site in varying geographies and time-zones.
  • Subject matter expertise and detailed demonstrable knowledge of security risk management, including incident response.
  • Understanding of threat, vulnerability, and risk assessment (TVRA) methodologies and processes.
  • Experience in the development and rollout of site security plans, processes, and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 years security risk management experience.
  • Experience managing security in a corporate environment.
  • Academic qualification in security management or security risk management (BSc/MSc).
  • Background in military, police, or law enforcement.
