The role involves providing specialized clinical knowledge in the management of musculoskeletal (MSK) foot conditions while also mentoring and guiding junior members of the Podiatry team.
As a key player in the community healthcare framework, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing a high-quality MSK foot service, collaborating with other senior leads to ensure exceptional patient care and offering managerial assistance to the Head of Podiatry.
Department Introduction
North Middlesex University Hospital's Podiatry Services is an innovative department dedicated to delivering a broad spectrum of advanced therapeutic interventions. We are in search of a seasoned podiatrist with outstanding skills to join our dedicated and supportive clinical team.
Main Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
- Conduct thorough MSK podiatric evaluations for both adults and children presenting with a variety of complex medical conditions.
- Assume responsibility for managing your own patient caseload, functioning as an independent clinical expert.
- Assess all service referrals to determine the most suitable treatment options or necessary referrals.
- Engage in line management tasks, including recruitment and service delivery evaluations, to support the Head of Podiatry.
