About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Civil Enforcement Officer to join our Parking Services Team. As a frontline ambassador for Cheshire East Council, you will play a significant role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of our roads and car parks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce parking restrictions and regulations in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Patrol car parks and highways to ensure compliance with parking rules and regulations.
  • Issue penalty charge notices for specified parking contraventions.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with members of the public.
Requirements
  • A full and valid manual UK driving licence.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle.
  • An enhanced DBS check.
  • A good understanding of the latest technology, including Android devices and/or iOS systems.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A high level of physical fitness and ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
