Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the preparation and processing of meat products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process meat products according to production specifications using knives and other equipment.
  • Ensure meat products are cut and trimmed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Maintain a clean work area and adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Meet production goals and work collaboratively with the team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Properly store and handle meat products to prevent waste and spoilage.
  • Perform quality inspections on meat products to ensure they meet established standards.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of knife skills and meat processing techniques.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work a full-time contract based on 45 hours per week, with the opportunity to earn up to £21.44 per hour. The role requires flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a knife skills or meat processing role is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow strict production specifications and safety procedures.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, and lift and move heavy items.
  • Excellent communication skills, including fluent English language proficiency.
