Electrical Assessor Role

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Assessor to support the development of future Electricians. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessing and a passion for the trade.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing students completing Diploma levels 1-3 courses.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback.
  • Creating a positive learning environment that encourages student participation.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
  • Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to curriculum development.
Requirements:
  • A recognized assessing qualification, such as Taqa, A1 award, or Cavaect.
  • Significant experience assessing learners aged 16+.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
  • Enhanced DBS on the updated service or prepared to apply for one.
