Role Responsibilities

As the Lead Infrastructure Support Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to proactively manage and support the organization's IT infrastructure, encompassing both cloud-based and on-premises systems, as well as our communication frameworks. Your goal will be to ensure that our networks and systems are consistently updated, secure, and functioning optimally, thereby guaranteeing their availability for all users.

You will take a proactive approach in this role, suggesting enhancements in processes and methodologies to help the organization meet its objectives and promote efficient IT operations.

Your duties will include ensuring that IT infrastructure, operating systems, and applications are properly installed, maintained, and decommissioned, while strictly adhering to relevant policies and regulations. Regular testing of disaster recovery solutions will be essential to ensure they meet organizational expectations during any potential downtime, minimizing service interruptions.

As the Lead Infrastructure Support Engineer, you will also enforce the organization's antivirus, security, email, and web policies, ensuring that all software remains robust and current. You will provide support to the IT Infrastructure team and collaborate with the broader IT department.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing and delivering a high-performance, secure, and stable infrastructure and communication systems within a structured IT environment. Key competencies should include:
