Job Purpose:

We are seeking a skilled Watch Diagnostics Technician to join our team at H&T Pawnbrokers. As a key member of our Swiss Time Services (STS) watch service centre, you will play a crucial role in providing watch diagnostics to enable estimation and authentication for watch repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose watch repairs, test and authenticate for estimates
  • Confidently authenticate watches in line with market expectation
  • Establishing pricing for luxury watch servicing
  • Perform stolen/lost checks on luxury watches
  • Locate brand identifiers such as warranty cards, serial numbers, and all related detail
  • Identifying aftermarket diamond set dials and bezels
  • Assist with watch queries from stores, customers, and other key departments
  • Ensure accurate and efficient data entry
  • Quality Control assessment and approval when required
Essential Requirements:
  • Computer literate, with basic Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace experience
  • Good technical knowledge of use of watchmaking tools beneficial
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A self-starter who is organised
  • Strong team player with great communication skills
  • Be able to work to deadlines
  • Adaptable to multiple roles dependant on business needs
