**Role Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at Connex - North East. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) conditions in a mainstream secondary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with SEND/SEMH conditions in the classroom and on a 1:1 basis.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Contribute to a nurturing and engaging learning environment that promotes academic achievement and social growth.
