About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Inspector to contribute to the success of our organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.

Shift: 4 on 4 off, 7am - 7pm and 7pm - 7am (rotating days and nights)

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Daily checks completion to maintain compliance of BRC requirements
  • Inbound & Outbound inspections required
  • Report any quality issues to line manager/OPS Leaders
  • Ensure Shelf-life is conducted; data recorded and report any failures.
  • Communication with Operations to support the smooth running of the product on site
  • Assist other departments with staffing where applicable – i.e. PPT, De–Topper, Scanning
  • Provide Support to BRC i.e. Traceability exercise
  • Stand in for QA Leader when absent

Requirements

  • Good IT Skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Previous QA experience (preferable within factory / manufacturing / fresh produce environment)
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • A natural communicator and team worker
  • Knowledge of fresh produce (desirable)
  • HACCP and BRC knowledge (desirable)
