About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Inspector to contribute to the success of our global business with a £2 billion + turnover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure daily checks are completed to maintain compliance with BRC requirements
  • Conduct inbound and outbound inspections
  • Report any quality issues to the line manager or OPS Leaders
  • Verify shelf-life and record data, reporting any failures
  • Communicate with Operations to support the smooth running of products on site
  • Assist other departments with staffing where applicable
  • Support BRC initiatives, including traceability exercises
  • Stand in for the QA Leader when absent

Requirements

  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Previous QA experience, preferably in a factory, manufacturing, or fresh produce environment
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • A natural communicator and team worker
  • Knowledge of fresh produce and HACCP/BRC (desirable)
