Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster and enhance relationships with essential internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee the procurement of a diverse range of materials, products, or services within a designated category.
  • Identify and collaborate with suppliers to ensure optimal sourcing.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret market intelligence to inform procurement strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive purchasing records, supplier information, and procurement agreements.
  • Monitor and forecast inventory levels, assess purchasing requirements, and identify associated costs.
  • Ensure raw material expenditure percentages align with manufactured sales within established targets.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders as necessary.

Minimize supply continuity risks by conducting supplier risk assessments for the portfolio's suppliers and implementing necessary corrective measures. Ensure that supply agreements are grounded in formal legal terms and conditions.


Qualifications:
  • Proven buying experience in a manufacturing context.
  • Highly organized and task-oriented.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • CIPS qualification is preferred but not mandatory; support for study is available and encouraged.
