Job Summary:
Voyage Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Manager Home Care Specialist to join our team. As a Care Manager Home Care Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our home care services, ensuring that our clients receive high-quality care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day running of home care services, including developing and implementing care plans, conducting care needs assessments, and recruiting and inducting new staff members.
- Lead a team of care professionals to ensure that our clients receive the best possible care and support.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Collaborate with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure that our clients receive comprehensive care and support.
- Manage the services' budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet the needs of our clients.
- Ensure that all regulatory, legislative, internal, and contractual requirements are met, including relevant notifications and adherence to policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a CQC registered manager or in a care management role.
- Ability to undertake CQC registration and a Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
- Experience working with individuals with autism, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
