Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Clinical Nurse to join our Community Paediatric Team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing dedicated support for children and young people accessing assessments for ASD/ADHD.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing our new pathway for ASD/ADHD, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to build confidence and clinical skills in evidence-based assessment and intervention. You will also be involved in training, service development, audit, and service evaluation.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic staff member who enjoys working flexibly and creatively. You will work alongside our experienced and supportive team of Paediatric Specialist Nurses, Principal Psychologist, Community Paediatricians, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Person Specification
  • Registered Nurse qualification with current NMC registration
  • V300 Independent Nurse Prescriber
  • Extensive experience at Specialist Practitioner Level or equivalent
  • Extensive post-registration experience of working with children with Social and Communication Difficulties and ASD
  • Teaching and group facilitation experience
