Design Manager

Blackfox Solutions is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing design and pre-construction projects, leading design teams, and driving technical excellence from initial design to project completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage design and pre-construction projects for the Education and Healthcare sectors.
- Lead design teams to ensure timely and precise project delivery.
- Obtain client design approval and manage design changes during construction.
- Partner with commercial and construction teams to mitigate project risks.
- Maintain the project risk register throughout the pre-construction phase.
- Review design drawings in accordance with Current Regulations and identify discrepancies.
- Degree in Technical Design, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven 5+ years' experience in design and technical management within the construction sector (preferably off-site).
- Experience in CAD, Revit, SolidWorks.
- Strong knowledge of planning and building regulations in UK and Ireland.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools including BIM.
