Compensation:
£50,000 plus comprehensive benefits package.

Work Arrangement:
Hybrid model based in South England, with 2-3 days required onsite depending on client needs.

Security Clearance:
Candidates must possess eligibility for SC CLEARANCE (British National).

A prominent IT consultancy is seeking a skilled Data Centre and Cloud Architect to provide expertise in consulting, strategic planning, architectural design, and technical leadership across a diverse range of client projects.

As a Data Centre and Cloud Architect, you will engage in various projects, including:

  • Cloud Architecture: Designing, constructing, and validating private, public, and hybrid cloud platforms.
  • Cloud Migration: Developing strategies and plans for transitioning workloads between different data centre or cloud environments.
  • Infrastructure Projects: Managing new deployments, refreshes, and upgrades within data centre infrastructure.

Experience in large-scale projects is essential for this role.


Essential Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Data Centre and Cloud Architect, with a strong background in complex Enterprise Data Centre initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver design and consultancy services focused on availability, security, scalability, operability, and extensibility.
  • Technical leadership in project work, overseeing the deployment of architectural solutions.
  • Acting as the primary contact for engagement managers and supporting architects regarding technical architecture.
  • Strong awareness of current IT trends and products.
  • Experience working within an architectural governance framework, particularly in delivering cloud, end-user computing, or data centre transformations for large organizations.
