A prominent IT Consultancy is seeking a skilled Data Centre and Cloud Architect to provide expertise in consulting, strategic planning, architectural design, and technical leadership across diverse client projects.
As a Data Centre and Cloud Architect, you will engage in a variety of projects, including:
- Architecting, designing, constructing, and validating Cloud platforms for Private, Public, and Hybrid Cloud environments.
- Managing large-scale, intricate projects that integrate multiple technologies and domains, focusing on compute, networking, storage, availability, scalability, operability, monitoring, and security.
- Facilitating Cloud Migration by analyzing and planning the transition of workloads between different data centre/cloud environments.
- Overseeing Data Centre Infrastructure initiatives, including new deployments, refreshes, and upgrades.
- Demonstrating experience in handling large-scale projects is essential for this role.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience as a Data Centre and Cloud Architect, with a history of involvement in complex Enterprise Data Centre projects.
- Demonstrated success in delivering design and consultancy services focused on availability, security, scalability, operability, and extensibility.
- Ability to provide technical leadership throughout project lifecycles, owning the technical aspects of solutions and implementing architectural frameworks.
- Acting as the primary contact for Engagement Managers and supporting architects regarding technical architecture.
- Strong awareness of current IT trends and innovations.
- Experience working within an Architecture governance model, with a track record of delivering Cloud, End User Compute (EUC), or Data Centre transformations for large organizations.
