Location: Central London

Compensation: £230p/d - £300p/d

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to join our team at Daniel Owen Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various projects related to building maintenance and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate reactive repairs, void properties, and projects addressing damp and mould issues.
  • Implement and maintain commercial controls throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee the commercial elements of the supply chain effectively.
  • Supervise and guide team members to ensure project success.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the Schedule of Rates for Building Works.
  • Demonstrate experience within the social housing or local authority sectors.
  • Exhibit strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Maintain a proactive and dependable work ethic.
  • Hold a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle.

Essential Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of the social housing, building contracting, and local authority sectors.
  • Proficient in IT and Excel.
  • Possess an HNC or equivalent qualification in surveying.
