Cityscape Recruitment is a reputable property services firm specializing in comprehensive building solutions, including mechanical, electrical, and renewable energy services.

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Estimator to enhance our Bid team. The role encompasses a variety of services related to local authority and housing association projects, focusing on planned maintenance, repairs, and long-term contracts. The Estimator will be responsible for:
  • Preparing and submitting the commercial aspects of tenders using various pricing methods.
  • Tracking tender opportunities and collaborating with the Group Bid Manager to create compelling proposals.
  • Developing budgets, cost plans, and analytical estimates, including bills of quantities and value engineering.
  • Ensuring competitive bids through effective risk and value management, including site visits to assess specific risks.
  • Reviewing tender documents and preparing material and subcontract inquiries, including evaluating subcontractor quotations.
  • Participating in strategy meetings with stakeholders.
  • Initiating technical queries to ensure accurate costings.
  • Collaborating with Business Development and Design Teams to prepare Contractors' Proposals.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with Customers, Consultants, Supply Chain, and Colleagues.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Knowledge of contracts, including traditional and partnering frameworks.
  • Proficient understanding of NHF and NSR schedules of Rates.
  • Extensive experience in the Social Housing sector.
  • Proven track record of job loyalty.
