Position Overview
Reporting to a seasoned leader in Renewable Energy Procurement, you will support our clients in executing significant capital programs and projects focused on green technologies, aiming to provide sustainable energy solutions for both customers and the broader community. We are seeking individuals passionate about renewable energy and large-scale projects to join our growing Procurement team within Contract Services across our UK offices, as we respond to the rising demand for our expertise.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement initiatives across various programs, projects, and commissions, guiding clients towards improved green and sustainable outcomes across diverse renewable energy assets.
- Enhance client performance and achieve targets related to key capital procurement themes.
- Drive the development of renewable energy procurement services offered by Turner & Townsend.
- Lead business development efforts for renewable energy procurement and oversee marketing strategies for the broader Contract Services division.
- Provide hands-on leadership and drive in achieving both team and organizational objectives, encompassing Business Generation, Service Excellence, and growth in Operations and People.
- Act as a business leader, mentor, and talent developer, exemplifying Turner & Townsend's leadership principles.

Qualifications
To deliver exceptional value for our clients, we are looking for candidates with a combination of the following:
- A degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Business Management, or related fields is preferred.
- Possession of, or willingness to pursue, at least a Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply.
- Security Clearance (SC) - currently valid or potentially reinstatable, though not essential.
- Broad procurement consulting experience from client, contractor, or professional services backgrounds.
- Knowledge of key responsible sourcing areas, including human rights, environmental considerations, health and safety, anti-bribery and corruption, and labor practices.
- Understanding of the UK and international energy sectors, related technologies, and regulatory frameworks is desirable.
- Experience in effective supplier engagement.
- Confident, independent, and capable of working autonomously.
- Able to manage work, business development, and career progression activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in compiling reports and research documentation.
- Comfortable in client-facing roles and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Strong IT skills and a genuine interest in tools, systems, and data.
- Results-driven with a collaborative approach to achieving objectives.
