Credit Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Page Personnel Sales. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire credit control process, ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices, and maintaining accurate records of all credit transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Debt Collection and Negotiation: Oversee the entire credit control process, including debt collection and negotiation with clients.
- Effective Strategies: Implement effective strategies to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all credit transactions, including correspondence and payment schedules.
- Credit Checks and Risk Assessments: Work closely with the accounting team to perform credit checks and risk assessments.
- Client Liaison: Liaise with clients to resolve billing and customer credit issues.
- Reporting and Compliance: Update and report on credit control metrics to senior management and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Financial Planning: Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
- Experience: Experience working as a credit controller.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, strong analytical skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, knowledge of credit-related laws and regulations, and ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
