Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Site Project Engineer to join our team at a prestigious manufacturing facility in the Derby area. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing the planning and implementation of capital and revenue projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning and implementation of capital and revenue projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to budget
  • Cover suppliers selection, financial control, and customer acceptance
  • Own factory equipment, including a new manufacturing line, HARD FM site services, and related works
  • Lead engineering and production teams during equipment installation and start-up, supplier selection, URS User Requirement Specifications, feasibility and justification analysis, equipment commissioning

Requirements:

  • Graduate calibre engineer or apprentice-trained mechanical, chemical, or electrical bias with experience from complex process manufacturing
  • Methodical and detailed worker, trained in project engineering
  • Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering backgrounds considered, ideally in a regulated environment, from volume manufacturing
  • Experience developing technical engineering solutions in automated environments
