Location: Derby area, M1 access

Job Reward: £250 - £350 per day, hourly rate equivalent

Our client is a global leader in manufacturing, committed to manufacturing excellence. They are seeking a Contract Site Project Engineer to work at a prestigious manufacturing facility in the Derby area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the planning and implementation of capital and revenue projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Cover supplier selection, financial control, and customer acceptance.
  • Own factory equipment, including a new manufacturing line, HARD FM site services, and related works.
  • Lead engineering and production teams during equipment installation and start-up, supplier selection, URS (User Requirement Specifications), feasibility and justification analysis, and equipment commissioning.
Requirements
  • A graduate-calibre engineer or apprentice-trained with a mechanical, chemical, or electrical bias.
  • Experience in complex process manufacturing, preferably in a regulated environment.
  • Developing technical engineering solutions in automated environments.
  • A methodical and detailed worker, trained in project engineering.
