About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Oncologist to join our team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant in Cancer Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of cancer services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert medical care to patients with head and neck cancers, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
  • Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of cancer services, including clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Supervise and educate junior doctors, medical students, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in clinical research and audit to improve patient outcomes and services.
