About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Oncologist to join our team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Locum Consultant in Clinical Oncology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cancer services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with urology cancers.
  • Conduct clinical audits and quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Provide teaching and training to junior doctors and medical students.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements
  • Full registration with the GMC and a valid license to practice.
  • MRCP (or equivalent) and FRCR (or equivalent) for Clinical Oncologists.
  • Experience in the management of urology cancers and a strong understanding of new developments in the specialty.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to teaching and training junior doctors and medical students.
