Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Apprentice

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer Apprentice to join our team at fish4.co - Jobboard.

About the Role:

As a Maintenance Engineer Apprentice, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving plant and equipment, performing day-to-day maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and food standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and improve plant and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform day-to-day maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and food standards to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Complete planned maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and reduce downtime.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Champion health and safety practices and provide technical support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience in multi-skilled engineering in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mechanical and electrical engineering skills, including knowledge of machinery, conveyors, pumps, valves, and electrical fault finding.
  • HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Strong problem-solving and maintenance skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
